Job Description
Solution Architect — Agentic AI, India & APAC
Company: Intellect Design Arena | Platform: Purple Fabric (Agentic AI) |Region: India & APAC | Reports into the GTM organization, paired with the GTM Lead
About the Role
This role is the technical build engine behind every Purple Fabric engagement in India & APAC. Where the GTM Lead owns the relationship, the narrative, and the deal, this person owns the proof — the architecture, the working demo, the PoC that actually runs. They pair with the GTM Lead on every priority account: in the room for the CXO story, then straight into the technical session to design the solution live, answer architecture questions with authority, and build what was just promised.
The scope spans the full engagement, not just one slice of it: platform conversations — what Purple Fabric is, how it's architected, its roadmap and capabilities — and use-case conversations — how it solves this specific client's business problem. This is a full agentic AI engagement owner, not a narrow demo-builder.
The bar is hands-on: comfortable configuring agents, wiring integrations, standing up a working PoC environment, and running a full-day technical bootcamp with a client's engineering team. This isn't a solo-operator role — they'll have a technical team around them on each engagement — but they need to be able to step in and build hands-on themselves, set the technical direction, and unblock the team rather than only design on paper and delegate.
Key Responsibilities
Bootcamp & Workshop Delivery
- Design & Run Bootcamps: Own end-to-end design and delivery of technical discovery bootcamps, use-case identification workshops, and hands-on hackathons with client technical teams — not just facilitate, but build live in the room.
- Value Mapping: Translate a client's operational pain points into a concrete, technically grounded use-case backlog during discovery, with enough architectural detail that it's buildable, not aspirational.
- Client Technical Onboarding: Lead technical orientation sessions for client and partner engineering teams post-sign-off, ensuring a clean handover into delivery.
Solution Architecture & Hands-On Build
- PoC & Demo Build: Personally build and configure working PoCs and demo use cases on Purple Fabric — agent orchestration, integrations, data connections — tailored to each account's real use case rather than a generic script.
- Platform Conversations: Represent Purple Fabric directly to client technical stakeholders — architecture, roadmap, capabilities, and how it compares to alternative approaches — with full authority, not a scripted overview.
- Use-Case Conversations: Lead deep-dive conversations that map a client's specific business processes to a concrete Purple Fabric solution design, working the problem live with their teams rather than presenting a pre-built answer.
- Architecture Ownership: Design solution architectures (as-is and to-be), integration patterns, and data flows, and defend them directly with client architects and security teams.
- Technical Objection Handling: Own the technical Q&A in evaluations — model behavior, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, data privacy, integration effort — without routing to a separate SME.
- Team Direction: Direct the engineers assigned to each engagement — splitting up build work, unblocking them technically, and staying hands-on personally where it matters — while retaining ownership of architecture decisions and client-facing accountability.
Partnership with the GTM Lead
- Joint Account Ownership: Work in close partnership with the GTM Lead across every priority engagement in the region — present together, plan together, and jointly own the outcome of the deal.
- Deal Support On Demand: Be deployable across accounts as engagements require, prioritising by deal stage and strategic importance in coordination with the GTM Lead.
- Feedback Into Product: Channel recurring technical objections, gaps, and client asks back into the Purple Fabric product and solutions teams.
Pre-Sales Asset & Accelerator Development
- Reusable Accelerators: Build and maintain a library of demo use cases, reference architectures, and technical accelerators that cut down PoC turnaround time across the region.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain architecture diagrams, integration guides, and technical FAQs as part of the regional Sales Kit.
- Partner Technical Enablement: Train partner technical teams to deploy and configure Purple Fabric independently, raising the ceiling on partner-led delivery.
- RFP Support: Own the technical sections of RFP/RFQ submissions — architecture responses, solution fit, and technical Q&A — working alongside the GTM Lead to keep submissions accurate and credible.
Technical Governance & Quality
- Consistency Across Engagements: Ensure architecture and solutioning quality stays consistent across accounts and, as the function grows, across other solution architects in the region.
- Best Practice & Reuse: Push the region toward reusable, proven patterns over one-off custom builds for every deal.
- Mentorship: Coach junior technical resources on hands-on build skills and client-facing technical delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 8+ years in a hands-on solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting role — with real, personal build experience, not just design authority delegated to a delivery team.
- Hands-on agentic AI build experience is mandatory: direct, personal experience building with multi-agent frameworks or autonomous workflow orchestration — not only traditional ML or analytics tooling. Candidates without real agentic build experience will not meet the bar for this role.
- Demonstrated hands-on build ability: can personally configure, integrate, and demo a working system rather than only whiteboard one.
- Comfortable directing a small technical pod: experience leading or coordinating a small team of engineers on a fast-moving build, splitting work and staying hands-on personally rather than purely delegating.
- Bootcamp / workshop delivery experience: has run technical discovery sessions or hackathons directly with client engineering teams, not just supported them.
- Technical range: working fluency across agent orchestration, RAG, LLM evaluation/guardrails, APIs and integration architectures, and enterprise data/security considerations.
Strongly Preferred
- Prior experience working in close partnership with a GTM or presales lead on enterprise deals, including regulated industries such as BFSI, insurance, or wealth management.
Also Important
- Regional Exposure: Familiarity with enterprise technology landscapes across India and the broader APAC region.
- Communication: Comfortable running a room of client engineers for a full day, and equally comfortable presenting architecture to a CTO in ten minutes.
- Travel & Flexibility: Willing to be deployed across accounts and geographies within the region as deal priorities shift.
