Role Description This is a full-time role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work-from-home.
The Software Engineer & Instructor will design and develop robust back-end and full-stack solutions, contribute to course materials, and build internal tools that support the learning platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include teaching live and online classes, mentoring students on programming concepts and problem-solving, reviewing assignments and projects, and providing detailed feedback to help learners improve. The role also involves collaborating with other instructors to refine curricula, creating technical content such as coding exercises and tutorials, and staying current with industry trends to ensure training remains aligned with modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate enjoys both building software and teaching others, and is comfortable communicating complex ideas in a clear, structured manner.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language (such as Java, C++, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including version control, testing, and collaborative development workflows.
- Practical skills in Back-End Web Development, such as building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly, with prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience considered an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in New Delhi, with strong time management and self-organization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in educational impact, empathy toward learners from diverse backgrounds, and commitment to inclusive, supportive instruction.
