## Job Summary
We are looking for a talented **EPLAN Design Engineer** with 1–5 years of experience in electrical design using EPLAN software. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, terminal plans, and manufacturing drawings for industrial control panels.
## Key Responsibilities
* Prepare electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8.
* Design PLC, MCC, PCC, VFD, Control Desk, and Automation Panels.
* Prepare:
* Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
* Control Circuit Drawings
* Power Circuit Drawings
* Panel GA Drawings
* Terminal Diagrams
* Cable Schedules
* Wiring Diagrams
* Bill of Materials (BOM)
* Generate manufacturing and shop-floor drawings.
* Prepare panel layouts as per customer specifications and standards.
* Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Project teams.
* Review customer specifications and prepare design documents accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and customer standards.
* Support FAT, customer approvals, and technical clarifications.
* Maintain project documentation and revision records.
## Required Skills
* Excellent knowledge of **EPLAN Electric P8**.
* Good understanding of electrical control panel design.
* Knowledge of Siemens PLC, HMI, VFD, MCC, PCC, and industrial automation systems.
* Ability to prepare accurate BOMs and terminal plans.
* Understanding of electrical components such as:
* MCB
* MCCB
* ACB
* Contactors
* Relays
* Power Supplies
* PLC I/O
* VFDs
* SMPS
* Knowledge of IEC electrical standards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and teamwork.
## Educational Qualification
* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
## Preferred Candidate
* 1–5 years of experience in EPLAN-based panel design.
* Experience in industrial automation or control panel manufacturing.
* Experience with Siemens-based automation projects will be an added advantage.
* Immediate joiners are preferred.
