Role Description The Senior Interior Design Architect will lead interior architecture projects from concept through completion, ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and alignment with client requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Coimbatore and involves developing design concepts, preparing detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and overseeing design implementation at project sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing design teams, reviewing and refining architectural design solutions, maintaining project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role also requires active communication with clients, presenting design proposals, gathering feedback, and translating requirements into clear design and documentation. The Senior Interior Design Architect will mentor junior team members and contribute to design management processes, standards, and best practices within the firm.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with proven experience in interior architecture projects.
- Candidates should possess Construction Drawings expertise, including detailed documentation, technical drafting, and coordination of drawings for execution.
- Candidates should possess Design Management capabilities, including project planning, team coordination, and oversight of design deliverables.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Relevant degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in leading interior design and architecture projects, preferably in residential or commercial sectors.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, materials, finishes, and construction processes, with attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative studio environment in Coimbatore.
