Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Ahmedabad. The Architect will develop landscape and architectural concepts, prepare detailed designs and drawings, and ensure that projects align with Earthscapes’ principles of ecological balance and sustainability. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients and internal teams, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and overseeing project execution from concept to completion. The role involves conducting site assessments, integrating environmental and contextual factors into design solutions, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Architect will also support project planning, documentation, and quality control to deliver on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create context-sensitive, sustainable solutions.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM, and digital workflows.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, standards, and environmentally responsible design practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with an interest in ecological and sustainable design principles.
