We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of a product portfolio and drive its success throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with regional markets, sales teams, engineering, manufacturing, service and other key stakeholders, you will help ensure our products continue to meet evolving customer and market requirements while supporting business growth objectives.
This role requires a strong blend of product management, commercial acumen and stakeholder management, with responsibility for translating market needs into product requirements, managing product roadmaps, supporting product launches and driving product performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the delivery and development of assigned products across regions, markets and internal stakeholders.
- Gather market requirements through customer engagement, competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Own and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), ensuring product development aligns with market demands and business strategy.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps and plans to support successful product lifecycle management.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure products are delivered effectively and are fit for purpose.
- Manage Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) milestones and support governance activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support Sales and Pursuit teams with product expertise, technical input and compliance guidance for customer opportunities, bids and proposals.
- Evaluate and prioritise product enhancements, assessing customer value, business impact and return on investment.
- Support product launches, sales enablement activities and promotional initiatives in line with product lifecycle milestones.
- Drive accountability for product performance, including revenue, contribution margin, pricing strategy and profitability.
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to support forecasting activities and market demand planning.
- Ensure product-related content and collateral effectively support customer engagement and market positioning.
- Collaborate with Service and Commercial teams to develop service offerings aligned to the product strategy.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, acting as the link between market needs and product delivery.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of overall professional experience, including 3–5+ years of dedicated Product Management experience.
- Experience developing and managing product roadmaps and product lifecycle activities.
- Strong understanding of market requirements gathering, product requirements definition and product portfolio management.
- Experience working across multiple business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, Service, Purchasing and R&D.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, profitability, financial performance and return on investment.
- Ability to analyse information, make informed decisions and balance competing priorities in a complex business environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience within industrial technology, manufacturing, security, defence or related sectors.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar business systems.
- Experience supporting product launches, bid activities and customer-facing product discussions.
- Understanding of cloud, platform or digital product environments.
- Security clearance eligibility, where required.
