About the Role
Butterfly Learnings is looking for a creative and versatile Content Writer with 1+ year of experience to join our marketing team. The role involves creating engaging, informative and SEO-friendly content across blogs, social media, websites and video platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly blogs and articles on child development, autism, early intervention, therapy, parenting and related topics.
- Create engaging social media posts, captions and campaign content.
- Write and update website content, including service pages, landing pages and marketing content.
- Develop reel scripts and short-form video scripts for social media, and be comfortable appearing on camera for reels and educational videos as a regular part of the role.
- Research and simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, parent-friendly content.
- Conduct keyword research and optimise content for search engines.
- Develop creative hooks, concepts and storytelling ideas for social media.
- Collaborate with the marketing, design and video teams to execute campaigns.
- Proofread and edit content to maintain accuracy, grammar and brand consistency.
Skills Required
- 1+ year of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of English grammar and vocabulary.
- Good understanding of SEO and content writing.
- Ability to write blogs, website content, social media posts and video scripts.
- Strong research and storytelling skills.
- Understanding of social media trends and content formats.
- Ability to simplify complex information into easy-to-understand content.
- Creative, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Comfortable and confident on camera, as the role involves appearing in reels and educational videos.
Preferred
- This is an in-office role based in Thane; candidates should be able to commute daily.
- Experience in healthcare, education, child development, parenting or wellness content will be an advantage.
