We’re Hiring | Design Manager / Team Lead
Architect / Interior Designer | 3–6 Years Experience
Location: Ghitorni, New Delhi
Joining: Immediate preferred
At Design Doodle Studio, we’re looking for a passionate architect/interior designer who’s ready to step into a leadership role.
If you have a strong eye for design, enjoy mentoring teams, and can confidently take projects from concept to completion, we’d love to hear from you.
As our Design Manager / Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading projects, guiding a team of architects and designers, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring every project reflects the high design standards that Design Doodle Studio is known for.
Your Responsibilities:
Design Leadership
* Lead the creative direction of assigned projects from concept through execution.
* Develop strong design concepts backed by thoughtful research and innovative thinking.
* Ensure every project maintains the studio’s design philosophy, quality standards and attention to detail.
* Conduct internal design reviews and provide constructive feedback before presentations and submissions.
Project Management
* Independently manage projects through all design stages.
* Plan project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
* Balance creativity with practicality while meeting project objectives and client expectations.
* Maintain project documentation and oversee quality across all deliverables.
Team Leadership
* Mentor, guide and inspire junior architects and interior designers.
* Assign work, manage workloads and monitor progress across your team.
* Review drawings, presentations and technical documentation prepared by team members.
* Foster a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team culture.
Client & Consultant Coordination
* Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence.
* Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
* Coordinate with structural, MEP, HVAC, landscape and other consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
* Act as the bridge between the design team, clients and senior leadership.
Technical & Execution
* Prepare and review architectural drawings, construction details and technical documentation.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations and industry standards.
* Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and services consultants.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve design or execution challenges.
Innovation
* Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials and technologies.
* Explore and adopt AI and other digital tools to improve design workflows.
* Continuously push the boundaries of thoughtful, functional and timeless design.
Software Skills
* SketchUp
* AutoCAD
* Photoshop
* Lumion / V-Ray / Enscape
* Revit (preferred)
We’re Looking For Someone Who
* Has 3–6 years of professional experience in architecture and/or interior design.
* Has experience leading projects and managing teams.
* Possesses strong design sensibility along with excellent technical knowledge.
* Is highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
* Can confidently communicate with clients, consultants and contractors.
* Enjoys mentoring people and helping teams grow.
* Takes ownership of their work and consistently strives for design excellence.
