Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer (Android)ll 2+ Yrs. of exp ll Bangalore with strong expertise in native Android development to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable Android applications or SDKs using Kotlin, a strong understanding of Android architecture, and experience with modern Android development practices. Exposure to cross-platform frameworks, SDK development, and mobile security is highly preferred.

Mandatory Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in native Android development using Kotlin (working knowledge of Java is expected)
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and Android architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Jetpack libraries, Activity/Fragment lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with both XML Views and Jetpack Compose
- Practical experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Cordova
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills using Android Studio Profiler, LeakCanary, and Network Inspector
- Experience writing clean, modular, maintainable, and scalable Android code
- Good understanding of mobile application security practices including SSL Pinning, ProGuard/R8, and runtime integrity checks
- Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining Android SDKs or mobile libraries
- Familiarity with Swift/iOS development for cross-platform feature alignment
- Experience with Gradle build customization and dependency management
- Knowledge of publishing libraries to Maven Central
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or similar tools
- Active contributions to GitHub or published applications on the Google Play Store
- Experience with performance monitoring, telemetry, and analytics instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance native Android applications and SDKs using modern Android development practices
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions across diverse Android devices and OS versions
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable components following clean architecture principles
- Implement robust automation for testing, build pipelines, and performance profiling
- Develop instrumentation and telemetry to monitor SDK/application performance and reliability
- Ensure application security through industry best practices including SSL Pinning, obfuscation, and runtime security checks
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and network efficiency
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile experiences
