Role Description The Packaging Designer will work full time on-site at our facility in Pune District, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective packaging solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing structural and visual packaging concepts, translating brand requirements into practical designs, and preparing production-ready files for manufacturing. The role involves conducting material and cost research, ensuring that packaging solutions align with sustainability goals and operational efficiency. The Packaging Designer will also coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, refine designs based on feedback, and maintain consistency with established brand and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Packaging Design and Product Design, with the ability to create functional, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in Branding and Graphic Design to develop visually cohesive packaging that reflects brand identity and market positioning.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout principles for clear, attractive, and compliant packaging communication.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CAD tools) and pre-press preparation.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, production, sales, and supplier teams.
- Diploma or degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or a related field; relevant work experience in packaging design is highly valued.
