Job Title: Inventory Planning Lead

Position Summary
The position is responsible for leading inventory planning, control, and optimization to ensure service continuity, efficient stock management, and working capital discipline. The role requires close coordination with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to maintain optimum stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
- Lead demand and supply coordination with internal stakeholders to support business requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, aging, and slow-moving/non-moving items across locations.
- Own end-to-end planning for the complete portfolio of FG SKUs across PAN India markets and diverse go-to-market routes.
- Oversee production planning and control across 3 manufacturing units to maximize capacity utilization and OTIF delivery.
- Lead S&OP and replenishment planning processes to align forecasts with supply availability.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and finished goods.
- Improve inventory accuracy, stock turns, service levels, and working capital efficiency.
- Generate cash outflow requirements for regulatory and governance related duties (Excise & Customs)
- Use ERP / planning systems to maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports for management.
- Drive process improvements, standard operating procedures, and inventory control discipline across the function.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management from a Tier-1 college
- Relevant experience in inventory planning, supply chain, materials management, or operations.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or related functions.
- Experience in Alco-Bev industry is a mandate.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or similar inventory/planning platforms.
- Exposure to S&OP (preferably a leading role or a key participatory role)
- Exposure to Import/Export operations
Skills and Competencies
- Strong inventory planning and control skills.
- Demand forecasting and replenishment understanding.
- Proficient in managing a large product portfolio (Preferably 250+ FG SKUs)
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.

- Proficiency in ERP, Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
