We are hiring a Lead Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with enterprise clients.
This forward-deployed engineer focused on infrastructure services helps enterprise clients transform legacy infrastructure support into
measurable, agentic software-defined infrastructure outcomes. The FDE Lead works directly in the client context to discover high-value
operating problems, shape them into Outcome-Driven Models (ODMs), prove value through design-partner sprints, and convert validated
outcomes into scalable outcome services.
The role matters because infrastructure is becoming a business control system in the AI era, influencing resilience, risk, cost, capital
efficiency, workforce productivity, and executive decision speed. It sits at the intersection of infrastructure support services, AI-assisted
operations, product/offer management, and commercial value creation.
What You Will Actually Do
• Go deep into client environments
• Identify broken workflows
• Build and deploy solutions (AI + infra + automation)
• Iterate rapidly with users
• Own the end-to-end problem solving and outcome delivery
• Lead a 30-day design partner sprint to baseline, deploy and prove measurable outcomes before scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Engagement with Client executives and IT leaders to understand current operations.
• Own end-to-end outcome definition, prioritization, delivery path, and measurable impact for each transformation engagement.
• Lead Sprint execution along with Platform engineer and AI Engineering specialist.
• Translate proven outcomes into outcome-based contract proposals in partnership with Account and Sales teams.

Experience Profile
Required Experience
• 8+ years of overall professional experience in infrastructure services, managed services,
enterprise technology, consulting, product management or transformation roles.
• Minimum 3 years in a role with direct product, offer or outcome-roadmap ownership. This may be
titled Product Manager, Offer Manager, Transformation Lead, Solution Lead or senior
technical/delivery leadership role with clear accountability for roadmap, prioritization and scope
trade-offs.
• Hands-on depth/experience in at least one mandatory infrastructure domain: secure networking,
cybersecurity, data center infrastructure.
• Practical exposure to ITOps, NOC/SOC operations, ITSM, incident and escalation management,
lifecycle/EoX management, patching, asset management, or service assurance.
• Direct exposure to commercial and pricing models in a infrastructure services context, such as SLA-
based governance, outcome-based pricing, performance governance, gainshare or value-linked
models.
• Experience engaging enterprise clients and operating in regulated or high-governance environments
such as banking, financial services, healthcare, energy, public sector or similarly controlled
industries.
• Working exposure to AI-assisted operations, AIOps, automation, agentic workflows or AI-native
platforms. Deep AI/ML engineering expertise is not mandatory, but conceptual fluency is required.
Nice to Have
• Experience with vendor ecosystems such as
Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, HPE Networking,
HPE, Dell, Arista, Pure Storage, or other
enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Experience building case studies, value
calculators, reference architectures,
playbooks, client testimonials or reusable go-
to-market assets.
• Prior experience working with account-based
delivery structures involving account teams,
delivery teams, client success teams and
platform engineering teams.
Required Skills
• Outcome discovery and problem framing: ability to convert observed client pain points into scoped outcome opportunities.
• Product and offer management: ability to own roadmap, prioritization, backlog, trade-offs and value hypotheses.
• Executive storytelling: ability to translate infrastructure signals into business-outcome language for CIO, COO, CFO, CISO and transformation
leaders.
• Data literacy: comfort with baseline creation, KPI instrumentation, before/after proof metrics, dashboards and business-value reporting.
• AI operations fluency: working knowledge of agentic or AI-assisted operations, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls,
explainability and governance.
• Cross-functional orchestration: ability to coordinate Sales, Platform, Engineering, Service Line, Delivery and client-side stakeholders without
losing outcome accountability.
• Commercial thinking: ability to connect technical proof to contract-ready business value.
What This Role Is Not
• Not a traditional delivery, project management, or pre-sales-only role focused solely on tasks, schedules, effort tracking, or proposal
creation.
• Not a disconnected product or generic infrastructure role; it requires domain depth, client-embedded operating context and measurable
outcome ownership.
