We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Manual Jewellery Designer with a strong passion for Polki & Uncut Diamond Jewellery to be part of our growing design team.
We are seeking a designer who can create distinctive, commercially relevant and contemporary interpretations of traditional Indian jewellery, while maintaining the richness and craftsmanship of Polki and Uncut.
The Role- Conceptualise and hand-sketch exclusive Polki & Uncut Diamond jewellery designs.
- Develop collections across Necklaces, Chokers, Earrings, Bangles, Rings, Pendants, Maang Tikkas and Bridal Jewellery.
- Create fresh, contemporary designs inspired by traditional Indian craftsmanship and current market trends.
- Translate design concepts into detailed manual sketches with accurate proportion, stone placement, setting and finishing details.
- Develop designs keeping wearability, target weight, manufacturing feasibility and commercial viability in mind.
- Work closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure designs can be executed accurately.
- Create exclusive collections for premium retail and B2B jewellery clients.
- Study market trends and competitor collections to identify new design opportunities.
- Adapt designs based on client requirements while maintaining originality and brand aesthetics.
What We’re Looking For✔ 4–10 years of relevant jewellery design experience
✔ Strong expertise in Manual / Hand Sketching
✔ Proven experience in Polki & Uncut Diamond Jewellery
✔ Excellent understanding of Indian traditional and contemporary jewellery
✔ Strong knowledge of stone placement, settings, proportions and manufacturing techniques
✔ Ability to develop original designs rather than simply replicate existing patterns
✔ Good understanding of weight-conscious and commercially viable jewellery designing
✔ Experience with Jaipur / Delhi-style Polki and Uncut jewellery will be highly preferred
