Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data engineering solutions on Databricks.
- Manage and deliver 6-8+ projects with hands-on development experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and architecture.
- Optimize performance and scalability of data solutions.
- Implement CI/CD practices for production deployments.
- Provide expertise in distributed computing with Spark.
- Stay current with Databricks product features and MLOps practices.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
Must to have:
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
- 10+ years of consulting experience.
- Completed Data Engineering Professional certification.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks in at least 6-8 projects.
- Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep expertise in at least one cloud ecosystem.
- Experience with distributed computing using Spark.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Azure Data Engineering
- Full Stack Development
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Experience with MLOps.
- Familiarity with performance optimizations.
Experience: 10 to 12 years
Location: Remote
Work timings: 10 am to 7 pm IST with a flexible overlap in EST or PST if required
