Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience specializing in white-box testing. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance by analyzing source code, identifying architectural weaknesses, and writing automated unit and integration tests. You will work closely with development teams to ensure code quality, security, and performance from the inside out
Key Responsibilities
- Code Analysis: Review source code, architectural designs, and data flows to identify potential bugs, security vulnerabilities, and logic flaws.
- Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust white-box test suites, including unit, integration, and mutation tests.
- Code Coverage: Monitor, analyze, and optimize code coverage metrics to ensure comprehensive testing of critical code paths.
- Debugging & Triage: Isolate, replicate, and document complex defects at the code level, providing developers with actionable insights for remediation. [1]
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated white-box test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. [1]
- Collaboration: Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions to advocate for testability and quality early in the lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 5–6 years of professional experience in software testing with a heavy focus on white-box
- Programming: Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or C++.
- Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, NUnit, or Mockito.
- Environments: Solid understanding of Git, Docker, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Databases: Proficient in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
- Availability: Must be available to join immediately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst (TTA).
