Role: Visual & UI/UX Design Intern
Location: Chennai
Work Mode: On-site
Experience: Freshers / Students with relevant interest are welcome
Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Full-Time Opportunity: Based on performance during the internship and business requirements, successful interns may be offered a full-time position with Jamoons Digital.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Visual & UI/UX Design Intern who is creative, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
The intern will work closely with our design and creative teams and gain hands-on experience across visual design, branding, websites, applications, and digital experiences. This is an opportunity to work on real-world projects while developing both creative and UI/UX design skills in a professional agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the design team in creating visual content for digital platforms.
• Support the creation of social media creatives, banners, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Assist with branding and visual communication projects.
• Support the UI/UX team in designing website and application interfaces.
• Assist with wireframes, user flows, layouts, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Create design variations based on project requirements and feedback.
• Understand and follow creative briefs, brand guidelines, and project requirements.
• Make design revisions based on feedback from the team and clients.
• Help maintain consistency in typography, colours, spacing, components, and overall visual design.
• Explore design references, trends, layouts, typography, and emerging digital experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, digital marketing, and other internal teams.
• Take initiative to learn new design techniques, tools, and processes.
What We’re Looking For
• A good eye for design, layout, typography, colour, spacing, and visual composition.
• Basic understanding of visual design and UI/UX principles.
• Creativity and an interest in exploring new ideas.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback positively.
• Ability to understand and follow creative and design briefs.
• Basic knowledge of Figma is preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or other design tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of wireframes, user flows, prototypes, or design systems is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai.
