Role Description The Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and material palettes for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and revising construction drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves site visits for measurements, inspections, and overseeing implementation to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the design team, present ideas to stakeholders, and maintain project documentation and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design and architecture skills, with experience leading full-cycle design projects.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and their integration with interior design solutions.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, layouts, and technical details.
- Advanced knowledge of design and drafting software. Proficient in AutoCAD is a must, SketchUp is a addon.
- Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Strong skills in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and user experience within interior environments.
- Should be open to travel for site visits and project work.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and creative design abilities with an eye for detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design with prior experience in interior design projects preferred.
- Handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail, timelines, and quality.
- Required 2to3 Years of relevant experience in the related Field.
