CTO / Technical Co-founder, Vault AI
Vault AI is building compliance infrastructure for financial institutions globally. We start with identity verification and expand into transaction risk scoring and case management, replacing the patchwork of point solutions fintechs currently stitch together.
We're at beta stage with a live product demo and are looking for a technical leader to take us from demo into live pilots and beyond.
What you'll own
- Architecture and development of Vault AI's core platform across identity verification, transaction risk, and case management
- API integrations with banking systems, payment rails, and compliance workflows
- Technical strategy and product roadmap in collaboration with the founding team
- Building and scaling the engineering team as we grow
What we're looking for
- Backend-first engineer with deep experience in APIs, payment systems, or compliance/regulatory workflows
- Track record of taking products from 0 to 1 in regulated or infrastructure-heavy environments
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of an early-stage startup
- Interest in building infrastructure, not just features
- Bonus: fintech, payments, or compliance domain experience
Stack so far
Claude AI for document intelligence, MediaPipe for liveness detection, HuggingFace embeddings for face matching. You'll have full ownership to evolve this.
