Role Description The Autocad Designer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Lakhimpur Kheri district, with the flexibility to complete some tasks from home. The Autocad Designer will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and related design tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design requirements and local building norms. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing floor plans, elevation drawings, and space planning layouts, revising designs based on client and internal feedback, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. The role involves maintaining organized drawing sets, updating documentation as projects progress, and supporting the design team with clear technical drafting. Effective communication, adherence to deadlines, and attention to detail are essential in this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for residential and small commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Drawing and Space Planning skills to create accurate layouts and efficient use of interior and exterior spaces.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and site teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (and similar CAD software) and the ability to produce clean, well-organized technical drawings.
- Understanding of basic building codes, construction materials, and local standards relevant to the Lakhimpur Kheri district.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in residential design or drafting is preferred; familiarity with 3D modeling tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is an advantage.
