About the Role
As our Founding Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling our platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own the technical architecture, lead development, mentor engineers, and work directly with the founders to turn product vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS applications.
- Lead backend architecture, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build and optimize multi-tenant database architecture.
- Establish engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and design teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor developers and help build a high-performing engineering team.
- Contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks when required.
Skills & Experience
Required
- 7–8 years of Full Stack development experience with strong backend expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python (FastAPI), or similar backend technologies.
- Experience building scalable REST APIs, SaaS platforms, or marketplace applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, Redis, caching, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Exposure to Next.js, Elasticsearch/Typesense, and microservices.
- Previous startup or founding engineering experience.
