We are looking for an experienced Content Writer with up to 4 years of experience in General News, particularly National and International News, to join our editorial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and publish high-quality news articles covering national and international affairs.
- Stay updated with breaking news, current affairs, politics, government policies, and major global developments.
- Research news stories from credible sources and ensure accuracy, relevance, and timely publishing.
- Develop compelling headlines and content suitable for digital news platforms.
- Follow editorial guidelines, maintain journalistic standards, and ensure factual accuracy.
- Monitor breaking news and deliver content within tight deadlines.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to identify and develop important news stories.
Requirements:
- Up to 4 years of professional experience as a Content Writer, News Writer, Copywriter, or similar editorial role.
- Strong experience in General News / National & International News.
- Excellent command of written English and strong news-writing skills.
- Good understanding of current affairs, Indian politics, and international developments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong research, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Prior experience with a digital news organization, media house, news portal, or newsroom will be preferred.
