Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Kinaxis Technical Consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience. The individual in this role will configure, customize, and maintain Kinaxis RapidResponse modules to support complex supply chain and planning processes. Day-to-day work includes translating business requirements into technical designs, developing and testing solution components, managing integrations with upstream and downstream systems, and optimizing system performance. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, preparing technical documentation, supporting user training, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with broader digital transformation initiatives. The consultant will participate in continuous improvement efforts, recommend best practices, and contribute to project planning and delivery in a distributed, remote environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Kinaxis RapidResponse technical skills, including configuration, customization, and module implementation.
- Solid experience in supply chain planning domains (demand, supply, inventory, S&OP) and related business processes.
- Proficiency in data modeling, database concepts, and integration technologies (APIs, ETL, middleware).
- Ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and designs.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support for enterprise applications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and remote colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous consulting or project implementation experience with Kinaxis or similar planning platforms is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and modern software delivery practices (Agile, DevOps) is an advantage.
