We are seeking an experienced AUTOSAR Embedded Software & Functional Safety Lead to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for driving the rollout of client's Single Branch Strategy across Platform, Ready Upgrade, and associated projects.
You will lead cross-functional teams in implementing functional safety goals and architectures, collaborate closely with Product Management, Requirements, Architecture, and Test teams, and champion Agile practices across distributed Scrum teams.
- Lead the solution rollout of Single Branch Strategy for Platform and Ready Upgrade projects.
- Participate in and groom functional safety goals, technical safety concepts, and design activities.
- Lead teams in implementing solutions aligned with safety goals and defined architecture.
- Chair Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to assess processes and documentation for implementation.
- Execute Static Code Analysis (SCA) and unit testing using the LDRA toolset.
- Debug and resolve critical issues using the Lauterbach debugger.
- Drive tooling adaptations to support Agile processes across multiple Scrum teams.
- Establish strong collaboration with Product Management, Requirements, Architecture, and Test teams, providing necessary inputs and guidance.
Experience & Technical Skills
- 7+ years of overall experience in software development and delivery.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Vector AUTOSAR DaVinci Developer and Configurator.
- 5+ years of experience executing functional safety projects within an AUTOSAR environment.
- 7+ years of development experience in Embedded C and Real-Time Systems.
- Proficiency with LDRA toolset for SCA and unit testing.
- Experience with Lauterbach debugger for critical issue resolution.
- Strong knowledge of Requirements Management, Incident Management, Continuous Integration, and Software Configuration Management.
- Familiarity with automotive/infotainment or telematics software standards.
Leadership & Process
- Proven leadership of development teams of 10+ members (internal and external).
- Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and standard Project Management methodologies.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into day-to-day activities and guide team members accordingly.
- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional development teams.
Soft Skills & Eligibility
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with structured and logical thinking.
- Ability to write clear and concise specifications, documentation, and methodologies.
