About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Engineer to join the StreamOne team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise-grade integration solutions that facilitate critical business services across the organization. As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical guidance, promote best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software quality, security, performance, and operational reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects leveraging the latest technologies in cloud computing, microservices, and API development, impacting our platform's efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with extensive experience in software development. A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on C#/.NET development, is required. Candidates should have a strong background in developing RESTful APIs and Web Services, with proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET. Experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases, Azure Cloud Services, and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps is essential. Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and security protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SAML is also necessary. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
As a Senior .NET Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, APIs, and integration services for the StreamOne platform. You will build and enhance enterprise solutions utilizing .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and microservices architectures. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers, you will review existing applications and recommend improvements in architecture, performance, and scalability. Leading technical design discussions and contributing to solution architecture decisions will be key aspects of your role. You will develop proof-of-concepts and technical spikes to evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks. Conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards, security practices, and best practices will ensure high-quality deliverables. Supporting DevOps initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments will be part of your operational responsibilities. Additionally, you will participate in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to release planning, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
