Role Description The Assistant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, supporting the smooth day-to-day functioning of Merrygohearts Weddings. This role involves coordinating photography and film project schedules, managing bookings, and ensuring timely communication with clients and internal teams. The individual will oversee workflow across pre-production, shoot days, and post-production, track deliverables, and help maintain quality standards for all projects. Responsibilities include assisting with resource allocation, vendor coordination, inventory and equipment oversight, and maintaining operational documentation and reports. The Assistant Operations Manager will also support process improvements, handle basic administrative tasks, and collaborate closely with the operations and creative teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- Operations and coordination skills, including project scheduling, workflow management, and basic resource planning.
- Client service and communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with couples, vendors, and internal teams.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as documentation, report preparation, and attention to detail in day-to-day tasks.
- Basic understanding of photography or film production processes, and comfort working in a creative, event-focused environment.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking software, email and calendar systems).
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, adapt to dynamic schedules, and support weekend or evening events when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in operations, event management, or studio management is an advantage; experience in the wedding or creative industry is a plus.
