Job details:
We are seeking a highly driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end delivery and release execution for Connectivity programs. This role is critical in ensuring seamless alignment across multiple engineering tracks, driving disciplined release management, and maintaining high quality standards across both NPI and Fleet initiatives.
The TPM will operate at the intersection of engineering, program management, and leadership—ensuring that scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies are proactively managed to enable predictable, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Release Backlog Management
- Own and drive epic prioritization, backlog grooming, and release planning aligned to business priorities.
- Balance risk, engineering capacity, and quality impact to optimize delivery outcomes.
- Ensure backlog transparency, traceability, and readiness for execution across all release cycles.
- Cross-Program Liaison
- Act as the primary interface between JEDI, JoLT (NPI & Fleet) TPMs, and Connectivity leadership.
- Drive alignment on scope, interdependencies, timelines, and risks across multiple programs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to remove blockers and ensure synchronized execution.
- Program Status Reporting
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable updates to leadership on release progress.
- Highlight key risks, mitigation plans, and decision points to enable informed leadership actions.
- Establish a consistent reporting cadence with metrics-driven insights (delivery, quality, risk).
- Integration Approvals & Quality Control
- Enforce integration checkpoints and quality gates throughout the release lifecycle.
- Ensure all code integrations meet stability, performance, and regression standards before promotion.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could lead to late-cycle instability or release delays.
- Defect Review Board (DRB) Facilitation
- Lead Defect Review Boards (DRBs) to ensure effective triage and prioritization of issues.
- Drive clear ownership, accountability, and timely resolution of Connectivity defects.
- Monitor defect trends and implement corrective actions to improve overall product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Project/Program Manager in complex, multi-team environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and large-scale program execution.
- Experience in quality governance, defect management, and integration processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with engineering teams and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- On-time and predictable release delivery
- Reduction in escaped defects and regression issues
- Improved cross-team dependency resolution time
- High release stability and quality benchmarks
- Effective risk mitigation and stakeholder satisfaction
