An AI platform for underwriting, claims, and insurance decision automation. is Looking for:
Core Responsibilities
- Currently someone in a lead position
- Build backend services in Java
- Develop microservices, APIs, and asynchronous workflows
- Build systems that integrate with AI agents and automation workflows
- Design scalable, secure, and observable backend platforms
- Work closely with product, domain experts, and customers
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
Core Skills:
- Java Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA) and microservices architecture
- PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and polyglot persistence
- Docker, Kubernetes, and API-first design
- Security (JWT, OAuth2), testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers)
- Observability tools(Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing)
Preferred:
- Neo4j, Elasticsearch, eventsourcing, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design
- Business process engines, workflow orchestration
- Insurance domain knowledge (policies, claims, underwriting)
- GitOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
