Experience: 6 Months – 5 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Software: AutoCAD (Mandatory)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Design & Development Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD and a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
- Modify existing designs based on customer or production requirements.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Purchase departments.
- Review product designs and suggest improvements.
- Validate designs through testing and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Support prototype development and product launches.
- Maintain design records and revision history.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 6 Months to 5 Years.
- Freshers with AutoCAD training or internship may also apply.
