Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is looking for a Consultant - NPI Buyer to drive direct procurement and supplier management for electrical, electronics, and mechanical components, supporting new product introduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end‑to‑end procurement and sourcing activities for electrical, electronics, and mechanical components.
- Handle RFQs, quotation comparison, supplier negotiation, and purchase order processing.
- Coordinate with suppliers for delivery schedules, pricing, and quality compliance.
- Clear the supplier payment dispute and co-ordinate with Logistics team for imported shipment clearance.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Support supplier onboarding, assessment, and performance tracking.
- Work in SAP or Oracle procurement modules for PR/PO creation, tracking, and updates.
- Sending the material to sub-contractor and get it as assembled PCBA and Product.
Skills Required:
- Diploma or B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and sourcing.
- Hands‑on experience working with SAP or Oracle procurement processes.
- Good understanding of electrical, electronics and mechanical parts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Exposure to technical drawings and basic engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of cost analysis and basic commercial terms (Incoterms, payment terms, etc.).
- Experience working with global suppliers.
