Role Description The Designer will work on the end-to-end design of facade systems for a variety of building typologies, translating architectural concepts into technically sound and aesthetically refined solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings and 3D models, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders, and ensuring that designs meet structural, safety, and performance requirements. The Designer will review project specifications, participate in design reviews, and support value engineering while maintaining design intent and compliance with relevant codes and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, requiring close collaboration with the engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams to support smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in architectural and facade design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar CAD/BIM software) is a must.
- Knowledge of facade systems, building envelopes, materials (glass, aluminum, steel, composites), and basic structural concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, and translate them into coordinated facade design details.
- 5-6 years of experience preparing technical drawings, 3D models, and shop drawings with attention to accuracy and constructability.
- Understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and performance requirements related to facades and glazing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance aesthetics, performance, cost, and practicality in design solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field; prior experience in facade design or building envelope projects is preferred.
