About the Role
Klove Studio is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Product Designer to spearhead the design of luxury lighting, sculptural installations, and bespoke décor collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong design vision, exceptional aesthetic sensibility, and the ability to lead projects from concept to execution while mentoring a multidisciplinary design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction and design development of luxury lighting and sculptural installations.
- Conceptualize and oversee new product collections, ensuring they align with the brand's design philosophy.
- Guide and mentor a team of product designers and creative professionals.
- Collaborate with artisans, engineers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and exceptional craftsmanship.
- Review prototypes, materials, finishes, and production samples, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Drive innovation through research into materials, lighting technologies, design trends, and global luxury markets.
- Present concepts and design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring successful execution from ideation to installation.
- Work closely with branding, marketing, and sales teams to create cohesive product launches and exhibitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in product, lighting, furniture, or luxury design.
- Proven experience leading creative teams and managing complex design projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end product design and executed projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant 3D modeling/rendering software (Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, KeyShot, or equivalent).
- Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and artisanal craftsmanship.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- A passion for innovation, luxury design, and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience designing bespoke lighting or architectural installations.
- Knowledge of glass, metal, stone, and mixed-material fabrication.
- Experience collaborating with architects, interior designers, and luxury hospitality or residential clients.
