Role Description The Investor role is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the company’s financial growth and long-term strategic vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities within the company, reviewing financial performance and projections, and providing input on funding strategies and capital allocation. The role involves collaborating with leadership to understand product roadmaps, market positioning, and potential returns, as well as monitoring risk, diversification, and portfolio performance. The Investor may participate in periodic review meetings, assist in preparing investment-related documentation, and advise on potential partnerships or market expansion initiatives. This position is suited for individuals who want to be actively engaged with a technology company’s trajectory while working remotely and flexibly.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in finance and investment analysis, including familiarity with financial statements, valuation methods, and risk assessment.
- Experience or interest in technology, data services, or artificial intelligence, with the ability to understand business models in these domains.
- Ability to interpret market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a structured manner.
- Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating with distributed teams using digital tools.
- High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to ethical investment practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, or a related investment role is beneficial but not strictly required.
