Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Draftsman cum Designer, for our firm which is based in Velachery. The Landscape Draftsman cum Designer will develop and plan aesthetic and functional outdoor spaces, based on the initial sketches prepared by the Principal Landscape Architect, focusing on both residential and commercial landscapes. Responsibilities include creating detailed landscape and planting plans, designing hardscapes, estimates and BOQ, collaborating with clients, and coordinating with contractors. The role also involves ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining design quality and sustainability.
This is an "In-person" job, and the office timings are from 9:30 am to 6:30pm with second and fourth Saturdays considered as leave with Sundays and Government Holidays.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Landscape Design development and Landscaping
- Knowledge and experience with Hardscape and Planting Plans
- Strong skills in Landscape Architecture, including the ability to create innovative and sustainable designs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with clients and contractors
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD is a must. Knowledge of software like SketchUp, Photoshop or similar tools is an advantage
- Relevant degree or certification in Landscape Architecture, Design, or a related field
