Role overview:
We are looking for an energetic, empathetic, and people-centric, Group HR & Administration Lead to join our Mumbai office. This individual will play a key role in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring efficient HR operations and office administration. The scope of the role will encompass our people across the world.
The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with people, is highly approachable and can effectively support a growing technology organization. The candidate must understand Indian HR practices and labour compliances thoroughly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with a young (most of our folks are Gen Z), ambitious, and fast-growing technology team and is passionate about creating an engaging and supportive workplace culture.
This role offers an opportunity to shape the employee experience from recruitment through engagement right up to rewards & retention while establishing scalable HR processes and administrative practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, engagement, performance support, and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment activities including sourcing, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure statutory HR compliance in accordance with Indian labour laws and applicable regulations.
- Maintain employee records with high standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, attendance, and employee documentation.
- Support performance management, employee development, and learning initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement programs and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Administration
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
- Coordinate with facility management, vendors, and service providers.
- Manage office infrastructure, procurement, travel coordination, and employee logistics.
- Ensure compliance with office health, safety, and security requirements.
- Support company events, town halls, celebrations, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Co-ordinate compliance with Accountants, Auditors, Tax Consultants and Corporate lawyers
- Ensure Employee documentation etc is fully complied
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Human Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Business Administration (HR), or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration.
- Experience working in a technology company, startup, fintech, or professional services environment is preferred.

- Working knowledge of Shops & Establishments Act, POSH compliance, Employment contracts and HR documentation.
- Experience in HR policy implementation and process improvement.
Communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
