Built by second-time founders who have built and sold companies before, LH2 AI Labs (lh2.ai) is building the post-training infrastructure for frontier AI models.
We bring private, high-quality institutional datasets and vetted domain experts to frontier AI pipelines across verticals like coding, computer use, agentic, medical, audio and more.
For AI to keep progressing, it needs high-quality training data drawn from real production use cases. The public web has already been crawled and trained on – there's nothing left. That's where we come in: we envision creating a world where frontier models can access data on tap – exactly how they access compute today.
The role
We're looking for our first HR hire to build the function from scratch. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly into the Founder's Office — you'll own hiring and the broader HR function end-to-end, not manage a team.
What you’ll actually do
- Own full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and closing — across strategy, GTM, and technical roles
- Build our hiring process from the ground up: JDs, sourcing channels, interview panels, scorecards, and offer frameworks
- Work directly with founders to build out the core team
- Take on the full-stack HR function beyond hiring — onboarding, policies, and people ops — as we grow
- Build and manage pipelines across LinkedIn, referrals, and alumni networks
- Track hiring metrics and keep improving the process
What we’re looking for
- 3-6 years of experience, with meaningful time at a Series A/B startup
- Experience in the 0-to-1 journey at an early-stage startup, ideally having worked closely with founders to build out a core team
- Education from a tier-1 institute, with strong communication skills
- Comfortable owning the HR function broadly, not just recruiting
- Excited to build something from scratch rather than run an existing playbook
