Senior Architect – Roles & Responsibilities
🎨 1. Architectural Design
* Develop concept designs, floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings for residential projects.
* Understand client requirements and convert them into practical and aesthetically strong designs.
* Prepare and review 2D and 3D designs.
* Ensure designs are practical, functional and suitable for execution.
💻 2. Design Software & Technology
* Work confidently with AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant architectural software.
* Prepare high-quality 3D models, renders, walkthroughs and presentations.
* Explore and effectively use AI tools for architectural design, visualization and concept development.
* Keep up to date with emerging design technologies and software.
🤝 3. Client Interaction
* Attend
client meetings and understand their requirements, lifestyle, preferences and budget.* Present
design concepts professionally and explain design decisions clearly.* Handle
design revisions and maintain strong client relationships.* Build c
lient confidence through professional communication and presentations.
📈 4. Sales & Business Development
* Suppor
t the sales team in converting architectural enquiries into projects.* Partici

Qualification
s
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and technical detailing
- .Experience with Software Development or software-driven workflows, especially in integrating design tools or collaborating with technology teams
- .Hands-on experience with Integration between architectural solutions and related systems, such as structural, MEP, or digital platforms
- .Proven Project Management skills, including scheduling, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- .Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, or similar)
- .Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and best practices in architecture and construction
- .Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage
- .Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
