Role Description The Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for leading a technical team through the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions or platforms. The Technical Lead collaborates with product owners, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, and ensures adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing code, mentoring team members, resolving complex technical issues, coordinating release activities, and driving continuous improvement in development practices and tools. The role also involves creating technical documentation, supporting production environments when needed, and contributing to technology roadmaps and best practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in leading technical teams, including task planning, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and associated frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript frameworks).
- Hands-on expertise with software architecture concepts, design patterns, and integration of APIs and microservices.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of databases, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
- Ability to collaborate with business and product stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate clearly in English.
- Experience working in Agile or similar iterative development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., cloud, architecture) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams and to guide projects through delivery in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in client-facing roles or working with global customers is beneficial.
