ZBullet is building one of India's fastest-growing AI-powered microdrama entertainment platforms. We build products across OTT, AI, Creator Economy, AdTech, Payments, Subscription, Analytics, and Generative AI.
We are looking for a highly technical Technical Project Manager (Engineering Lead / Scrum Master) who can lead engineering delivery while actively contributing to technical decision-making.
This is not a traditional project management role.
We are looking for someone who has grown from software engineering into technical leadership and can comfortably discuss architecture, review code, mentor engineers, solve engineering bottlenecks, and ensure world-class execution across multiple product teams.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable speaking with developers, architects, founders, product managers, and enterprise stakeholders.
What You'll Own
You will own engineering delivery across multiple product initiatives while ensuring technical quality, scalability, and execution excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Engineering Leadership
- Lead multiple engineering squads across Backend, Frontend, Android, iOS, QA and DevOps.
- Drive end-to-end project execution from requirement gathering through production deployment.
- Participate in system design discussions and architectural reviews.
- Review engineering designs before implementation.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Drive refactoring initiatives to improve maintainability, scalability, and code quality.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, documentation, and testing practices.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers through technical guidance and reviews.
- Improve engineering velocity through process improvements and technical governance.
Technical Ownership
You should possess strong engineering fundamentals and be capable of reviewing technical solutions across the stack.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 3–5 years leading engineering teams or managing technical projects.
- Prior experience as Technical Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience building consumer-scale products with millions of users.
- Ability to understand, review, and challenge engineering designs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
