Roles and Responsibilities
- Join strategy meetings with the project lead and clients to understand brand vision, user journey, and design requirements.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for client-based web projects.
- Utilize AI design and generative tools to conceptualize layouts, create custom web assets, and speed up the design iteration process.
- Ensure all designs are fully responsive, mobile-first, and adhere to modern UI/UX best practices.
- Prepare and present design concepts to clients, gracefully accepting feedback and making rapid adjustments.
- Package and hand off organized design files and assets to the development team for implementation.
Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: Proven track record in web/UI design with a portfolio showcasing digital-first layouts (strictly web/digital, no print design requirements).
- Preferred Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Animation, B.C.A, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Technical Requirements (Brownie Points)
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience with AI generative tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, Figma AI plugins) for rapid asset creation and ideation.
- Design Software: Mastery of modern UI/UX tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Web Fundamentals: Strong grasp of grid systems, typography, color theory, and responsive web behaviors.
- Prototyping: Ability to build interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows to clients.
- Collaboration: Familiarity with exporting assets and providing CSS/styling guidance to web developers.
Work Setup & Location
- Location: 100% Remote.
- Hours: Flexible working hours, structured around client consultations and design review milestones.
- Language: English proficiency required for client presentations (Kannada proficiency is a plus).
