Role Overview
We are looking for a Quantitative Developer with a strong C++ background to convert mathematical models and Python prototypes into reliable, scalable analytical engines. Working with Quantitative Research, Data Engineering and Product Engineering, you will support the complete lifecycle from research implementation to internal and client deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Research Production
- Translate quantitative models and Python prototypes into production-quality C++.
- Develop reusable components for risk analytics, forecasting and simulation.
- Build Python interfaces for C++ components using pybind11 or similar technologies.
- Ensure production implementations remain consistent with the underlying research.
Engine Development and Validation
- Develop engines supporting historical, batch and streaming data.
- Integrate calculation components with data pipelines, APIs and downstream applications.
- Validate implementations against research prototypes and benchmark results.
- Develop automated numerical, integration and performance tests.
- Optimize calculation speed, memory usage and scalability.
Deployment and Delivery
- Package engines as libraries, services, APIs or containers.
- Support deployment across internal and client-controlled environments.
- Configure engines for different datasets and institutional requirements.
- Assist with integration testing, upgrades and technical troubleshooting.
- Document interfaces, configurations and deployment requirements.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Quantitative Research, Data Engineering, AI and Product Engineering.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and model reviews.
- Take ownership of assigned components from research handover through deployment.
