Mechanical Design Engineer – Electromechanical Product Development (5-10 Years)
- Experience in design and development of electromechanical systems, subsystems, and products from concept to production.
- Proficiency in Creo and/or UG NX for 3D modeling, assemblies, surface modeling, sheet metal, plastic, casting, machined parts, and 2D drawings.
- Hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing plastic, sheet metal, machined, casting, and structural components.
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, material selection, manufacturing processes, and manufacturability considerations.
- Experience in NPD/NPI lifecycle management, including concept creation, prototyping, validation, and production release.
- Expertise in MCAD-PCB integration, including EMN/EMP definition, board outline creation, and verification.
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM/PDM and/or Windchill for lifecycle management, ECO/ECR handling, and EBOM/BOM creation.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
- Ability to independently lead design activities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Experience in electromechanical product assemblies, top-down design methodology, and prototype build support.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a quality-focused and result-oriented mindset.
- Experience in Flex PCB design and knowledge of Japanese language would be an added advantage.
