Job Summary
We are looking for experienced engineers with strong expertise in Automotive BIW Design. The candidate should have hands-on experience in UGNX and exposure to BIW structure design, sheet metal components, welding assemblies, and automotive product development activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop BIW components and assemblies using UGNX.
· Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOM.
· Work on sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, brackets, reinforcements, and mounting structures.
· Perform packaging studies, tolerance analysis, and feasibility checks.
· Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams.
· Support engineering changes and product improvement activities.
· Ensure design compliance with OEM standards and automotive regulations.
· Participate in design reviews, project discussions, and customer meetings.
· Support prototype development and production release activities
Required Skills
· Strong expertise in UGNX.
· Experience in Automotive BIW Design.
· Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and Knowledge of sheet metal design and welding concepts.
· Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, and product development cycle.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Experience in OEM / Tier-1 automotive projects will be an added advantage.
