Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build microservices and event-driven architectures for AI-powered applications.
- Develop secure and performant RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Implement authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and monitoring.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source models.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Design and maintain vector search and semantic retrieval systems.
- Develop AI agent orchestration workflows and tool integrations.
- Optimize inference latency, throughput, and operational costs.
- Design efficient database schemas and data pipelines.
- Manage structured and unstructured data used by AI systems.
- Implement caching, queueing, and asynchronous processing workflows.
- Build observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for AI service
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or similar backend languages.
- Experience designing and building production APIs.
- Strong knowledge of databases:
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
- Redis or caching systems
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing. Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and validate backend data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Experience with vector databases.
