Role Description The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences across Friska.AI’s web and mobile products. In this full-time remote role, the designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and clinical experts to translate complex health data into clear, user-friendly flows and interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research and usability testing, mapping user journeys, creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and iterating based on feedback and analytics. The designer will ensure a consistent design system, advocate for user-centered design decisions, and contribute to product discovery and feature prioritization. This role also involves documenting design rationale, aligning with brand guidelines, and supporting continuous improvement of the overall user experience.
Qualifications
- Strong user-centered mindset with skills in Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) to solve complex problems and create intuitive health journeys.
- Ability to plan and conduct User Research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design insights.
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) to produce wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Experience designing digital products end-to-end, preferably in health tech, wellness, or data-heavy applications.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices across web and mobile platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered processes and shipped products or case studies; experience with iterative, agile development is a plus.
