Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at FLIXAZ will lead all financial functions of the organization, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy to support the company’s growth in the OTT and entertainment sector. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance with applicable regulations. The CFO will develop and maintain financial policies, monitor key performance indicators, and provide data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making. The role includes managing relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and other financial partners, as well as assessing the financial viability of content acquisition and distribution deals. The CFO will also build and mentor the finance team, implement internal controls, and support long-term capital planning and risk management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Analytical Skills to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial models.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in line with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track record of designing and implementing financial controls, cash flow management, and risk mitigation frameworks.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, MBA) are highly beneficial.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and managing banking and audit relationships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts in clear, practical terms.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the capacity to make timely decisions in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.
