About TiltAt Tilt, we're on a mission to revolutionize health and fitness by deploying shared bicycles and e-bikes in Indian campuses. We partner with residential townships to provide shared bicycles and e-cycles for their communities.

The RoleAs a Oeprations Manager, you will own the day-to-day running of one of Tilt's operational hubs in Bangalore. The hub is the on-ground base from which a cluster of campuses and townships is serviced, and you are the person who keeps that fleet on the road. You will lead a team of mechanics and field executives, keep bikes and e-bikes in top condition, ensure stations are always stocked and running, and make sure every rider in your zone has a seamless experience. Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Uptime & Quality
- Own bike and e-bike uptime across all stations in your hub, keeping the fleet at target availability every day.
- Run daily quality checks and preventive maintenance schedules for bicycles, e-bikes, batteries, and docking stations.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly, and escalate recurring quality issues with clear data.
Hub & Team Operations
- Manage daily hub operations including deployment, rebalancing, charging, and retrieval of bikes across the zone.
- Lead, roster, and supervise a team of mechanics and field executives, setting daily targets and tracking output.
- Maintain the hub's spares and battery inventory, raising timely indents to the central warehouse to avoid stockouts.
Stations & Rider Experience
- Ensure stations in your zone are clean, well-organized, correctly stocked, and visible to users.
- Proactively identify and resolve station outages and downtime to keep service uninterrupted.
- Drive ridership and revenue in your hub through consistent uptime, good bike quality, and quick issue resolution.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with the City Captain, warehouse, and central operations teams to keep the supply chain and field ops in sync.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inventory, and attendance for audits and reporting.
- Provide daily and weekly reports on fleet health, downtime, and hub performance, and drive corrective actions.
About You
- 2+ years of experience in field operations, fleet, logistics, or service-team management (bike/EV/automotive/last-mile is a plus).
- Hands-on and comfortable leading a ground team of mechanics and field staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational challenges on the fly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Kannada (Hindi is a plus).
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on operational excellence.
- Familiarity with Bangalore's geography and communities is a plus.
