One of our Top Engineering client seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Business Head – Digital Operations Management to lead and scale our Digital Operations vertical. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end business growth, operational excellence, and delivery transformation through digital enablement across global projects.
About the Digital Operations vertical
Digital Operations Management (DOM), often powered by Digital Twin (DT) technology, refers to the practice of managing an organization's physical and digital assets — buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and systems — through a live, data-driven digital replica used to monitor, maintain, and optimize operations after handover. Pinnacle delivers Digital Operations Management and Digital Twin services to clients globally, supporting asset owners and operators across airports, data centers, healthcare systems, commercial real estate, and large campuses in North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Our Digital Operations Management vertical is built around Digital Twin and Enterprise Asset Planning — a business function focused on managing an organization’s physical and digital assets through technology, data, and integrated planning systems. It helps clients track, maintain, optimize, and forecast the use of assets such as buildings, equipment, infrastructure, software, IT systems, BIM models, IoT devices, and operational data.
The core objective is to ensure that assets are used efficiently, maintained proactively, and aligned with business goals. It combines asset management, ERP systems, digital twins, BIM, IoT monitoring, predictive maintenance, lifecycle costing, and analytics dashboards into a single integrated planning capability rather than a collection of disconnected platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth & Strategy
• Drive the overall growth of the Digital Operations Management vertical, including P&L ownership and revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industries such as Construction, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Engineering Services.
• Define and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy for Digital Operations offerings
. • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, acting as a strategic advisor for digital transformation initiatives.
2. Operational Excellence & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end digital operations delivery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Establish standardized processes, KPIs, and performance frameworks to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Oversee large-scale project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
3.Leadership & Team Management
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across operations, delivery, and support functions.
• Create a strong leadership pipeline and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, Finance, and Technology.
4.Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges and propose digital solutions. • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
5.Market Intelligence & Positioning
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in digital operations.
Ideal Candidate Background
We are looking for a leader whose experience sits squarely in the operate-and-maintain phase of assets — someone who understands how a Digital Twin actually gets used after handover, not just how it is built.
• A leader from a Facility Management (FM) or corporate real estate services firm, from the construction industry, or from an asset owner running a live Digital Twin program — for example airports post-COD, data centers, healthcare systems, commercial REITs, or large campuses.
• Understands BMS, IoT integration, and CAFM / CMMS / IWMS platforms, together with energy and sustainability operations.
• Understands how a Digital Asset Management system is actually used post-handover to run live operations — not only how it is designed or delivered during construction.
• Has run a services P&L across external clients — not only a captive, in-house operations team for a single employer.
Key Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in operations management, digital transformation, or engineering services.
• Proven experience in business leadership roles with P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of digital operations, process optimization, and automation frameworks.
• Experience in managing large teams and delivering complex, multi-location projects. • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities.
Preferred Skills
• Exposure to BIM, Digital Asset Management, Digital Transformation, or the Engineering Services industry. • Experience in implementing tools related to RPA, analytics, or enterprise platforms.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
