Role Description
The MEP Project Head will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across multiple projects. This full-time role is based in Delhi, India.
Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing MEP design development, reviewing CAD drawings, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves guiding and mentoring the MEP project team, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors, and monitoring installation quality and progress. The MEP Project Head will also participate in client meetings, support value engineering decisions, manage risk, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required technical and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation of 5-15 years in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with experience in building services design and coordination.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and familiarity with related drafting and modeling software used for MEP layouts and documentation.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for construction or fit-out projects.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary project teams, delegating tasks, and driving accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; professional certifications in project management or MEP design are an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to MEP systems in India.
