About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Senior Front-End Engineer to design, develop, and evolve scalable, high-performance applications across modern cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will work across the stack—building robust backend systems and intuitive frontend experiences that power products at scale. This role is perfect for someone passionate about end-to-end solutions, modern architectures, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance workflows and product capabilities .
Key Responsibilities
- Build across the full stack using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript on the frontend, and Java with Spring Boot on the backend.
- Drive the design and implementation of product features while supporting live, at-scale operations of critical web and mobile flows.
- Contribute to test automation, monitoring, and alerting practices.
- Help shape the roadmap by surfacing technical needs during prioritization discussions.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, backed by strong communication skills.
- Lead teams in building scalable, maintainable software that supports millions of users and transactions .
Required Skills
- Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.
- Hands-on expertise with React.js and Next.js.
- Proficiency with Node.js.
- Backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Background in subscription-based and/or e-commerce businesses.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for mentoring and coaching teammates .
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Kubernetes, CloudFront).
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Advanced Java skills .
