L2 Responsibilities :-
Infrastructure Support
- Manage Azure resources:
- Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux)
- Storage Accounts (Blob, Disk, File)
- App Services
- Perform provisioning and deprovisioning
Incident & Service Request Handling
- Monitor alerts via Azure Monitor / ITSM tools
- Handle:
- L2 incidents (VM down, connectivity issues, performance alerts)
- Escalate complex issues to L3
Identity & Access
- Manage Azure AD / Entra ID
- Handle:
- User access
- RBAC role assignments
- MFA issues
Networking
- Support:
- VNet, Subnets
- NSG rules
- Basic VPN troubleshooting
Monitoring & Logs
- Check logs in Log Analytics
- Respond to alerts and threshold breaches
Backup Operations
- Monitor Azure Backup jobs
- Perform basic restore operations
Change Management
- Execute standard changes as per SOP
- Follow CAB guidelines
